Belgian Waffles

Light, crispy Belgian waffles with deep pockets.
Ingredients
1¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
2 tbsp sugar
½ tsp salt
3 eggs
½ cup butter, melted and cooled
1½ cups milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

Melt 1/2 cup (2 sticks) of butter and allow to cool to 80-90 degrees

In a large bowl whisk together: 1. Flour 2. Baking Powder 3. Sugar 4. Salt

In a sperate bowl whisk the 3 eggs

To the Eggs add and whisk: 1. Milk 2. Vanilla Extract

Add Butter to eggs, milk, and vanilla extract and whisk together

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and fold together using a large spoon. Do not over mix your batter.

Using a ladle scoop batter into waffle iron and cook until golden brown

Serve hot with your favorite toppings
